Terms of Service

Swath is a drone spray operations tool for Canadian farmers and operators. It provides scheduling, field mapping, mix calculation, weather data, and compliance record generation aligned with Health Canada / PRD, Transport Canada RPAS, and Canadian provincial requirements.

The Service is currently in closed beta. Features are in active development, availability may be limited, and functionality may change without notice.

You must be 18 years of age or older and legally permitted to operate a drone spray business in your jurisdiction to use Swath. By using the Service you represent that these conditions are met.

During the beta period, Swath is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to:

• Limit, suspend, or revoke beta access at any time without notice.
• Change, add, or remove features during the beta period.
• Transition to a paid service at launch, with prior notice to beta users.

Beta access does not constitute a commitment to future pricing or feature availability.

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of any data you enter into the Service (field boundaries, product selections, application records).
• Independently verifying that your spray operations comply with all applicable regulations, including Health Canada / PRD pesticide-use requirements and Transport Canada RPAS rules. Swath assists with recordkeeping and calculations — it does not replace your regulatory obligations or professional judgment.
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Using the Service only for lawful purposes.

Swath generates records, mix calculations, and weather assessments to assist your operations. These outputs are tools — not legal advice, not agronomic advice, and not a guarantee of regulatory compliance. Always verify product label rates, application conditions, and record requirements against the current Health Canada label and applicable provincial regulations. Sonic Insights Ltd is not responsible for regulatory violations arising from your spray operations.

The Swath name, logo, application code, and website content are owned by Sonic Insights Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.

Data you enter into Swath — your fields, clients, jobs, and spray records — remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your operational data.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sonic Insights Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses resulting from regulatory non-compliance, crop damage, or data loss.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Prince Edward Island and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prince Edward Island.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
